Billing details
Input and output
Input includes the prompt and context sent to the model. Output is generated text. Each is charged at the selected model’s listed rate.
Cache and long context
Cache reads and writes are priced separately where supported. Long-context prices apply above the stated input threshold. A dash indicates no quote for that usage type.
How are charges calculated?
Charge = (uncached input tokens × input rate + output tokens × output rate + applicable cache tokens × their rates) ÷ 1,000,000. For example, Haiku 5.5 with 1,000 uncached input tokens and 1,000 output tokens costs $0.00018, excluding cache usage. Review settled charges in your account ledger.
What is the difference between the top-up amounts?
The amount is added to the same account balance. Model prices and account permissions do not change with the top-up amount.
Which models and features can I use?
Check the model and API permissions shown in your account. The model information directory also contains entries that require a separate quote or access check.
Where can I see my balance and bill?
Use Balance & billing in the console for top-ups and transactions. Usage & logs shows model requests and charges.
Does this include a ChatGPT or Claude subscription?
API balance pays for model API requests. It does not include subscriptions for third-party chat applications.
